Tour Plan
Day 1:Jammu – Katra (50 kms / 2 hours)
Arrive at Jammu airport / station (on your own). You will be received by Thomas cook representative / driver. Once you board your vehicle, you will proceed to the holy city of Katra. Check into the hotel. Overnight stay will in Katra. (You can also proceed to Mata Vaishnodevi shrine in the night.)
Day 2: Katra
Today early morning proceed for Vaishnodevi shrine, which is 13kms trek from Ban Ganga. Later return back to the hotel in Katra for overnight stay.
Day 3: Katra – Pahalgam (280 kms / 7 hours)
Today after breakfast, check out from Katra and proceed for Pahalgam. On arrival at Pahalgam, check in to your hotel. Evening is free for leisure activities. Dinner & overnight stay will at the hotel in Pahalgam.
Day 4: Pahalgam
Today after breakfast, depart for excursion trip to Aru, Chandanwadi, Betab Valley. You need to take local vehicle on direct payment basis as local taxi union does not allow outside vehicle to do sightseeing. Driver will help you in booking local taxi. Evening is free for leisure activities. Dinner & overnight stay will be at hotel in Pahalgam.
Day 5: Pahalgam – Gulmarg (140 kms / 3 ½ hours)
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed for Gulmarg. En route visit Awantipura Ruins. On arrival, check into your hotel. Please note that no outside vehicle is allowed in Gulmarg. You need to take local vehicle / Ponies on direct payment basis as local taxi union does not allow outside vehicle to do sightseeing. Driver will help you in booking local taxi / Pony. Evening is free for leisure activities. Dinner & overnight stay will be at hotel in Gulmarg.
Day 6: Gulmarg
After breakfast, spend the day at leisure. One can also opt for a fun-filled pony ride and gondola rides (on direct payment). Dinner & overnight stay will be at hotel in Gulmarg.
Day 7: Gulmarg – Srinagar (90 kms / 1 ½ hours one way)
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed for Srinagar. On arrival, check into your houseboat. Today enjoy local sightseeing of Srinagar covering Shankaracharya Temple, Mughal gardens, Carpet Weaving Factories. Later in the evening proceed for shikara ride in Dal Lake. Dinner & overnight stay will be on board the houseboat in Srinagar.
Day 8: Srinagar – Excursion to Sonmarg (90 kms / 2 hours one way)
After breakfast, check out of the houseboat and check in to the hotel at Srinagar. Later leaving no time, depart for full day excursion to Sonmarg. Enjoy beautiful snow capped peaks and glaciers. Return to Srinagar by evening. Dinner & overnight stay will be in the hotel at Srinagar.
Day 9: Srinagar – Departure
Today after breakfast, check out from your hotel and proceed to Srinagar airport.
